SteelHome (China) Steel Price Index (SHCNSI) was 86.53 points (3,743 yuan) on April 24, 2025, up 0.08 point (4 yuan) from the previous trading day.

Construction steel: 20mm HRB400 rebar averaged at 3,216 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, up 5 yuan/t from previous trading day.

Medium plate: 20mm Q235 medium plate price averaged at 3,558 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, flat from previous trading day.

HRC: 5.75mm Q235 HRC average price was 3,329 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, down 1 yuan/t from previous trading day.

CRC: Average price of 1.0mm SPCC CRC was 3,984 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, up 1 yuan/t from previous trading day.

Ex-works price of steel billet in Qian’an fell by 20 yuan to 2,970-2,980 yuan/t on April 24. Spot resources were priced 3,040 yuan/t. In the short term, billet market prices are expected to show a volatile trend.
